Art Institute of Chicago Field Trip

April: Fry fourth graders visited the Art Institute of Chicago. This annual event is an outstanding experience as students observe, discuss and analyze original works of art during a docent led tour. This year the student tour was Family, Self and Community. The docents were so impressed with the students' knowledge and students really enjoyed the trip. Students also enjoyed the fabulous view of the city while they ate their lunch. Each student received a family pass allowing them to return with their families. Maybe they can collect a bouquet of flowers as they hunt for flowers represented in various art forms throughout the museum.
